I have diverse professional, educational, and lived experience; and, my clinical education began in art therapy before transitioning to clinical psychology. Aligned with whole person health and liberation psychology, I am sensitive to the sociocultural contexts that significantly contribute to biophysiological ("medical model") health.
About Me
Life as a living canvas…
I have always navigated life like an artist—with passion, curiosity, and an openness to explore. As a second-generation Asian American, I grew up with a more traditional idea of the path I was supposed to follow, only to find myself drawn toward one that was far less linear. I’ve learned that the most meaningful journeys rarely move in a straight line. It is often in the detours, the unexpected terrain, and the storms that reshape the landscape that we discover something important about who we are.
My own path has taken me from corporate roles in fashion buying and supply chain management to social impact-focused business consulting, and eventually to the work where I feel most at home: connecting with others, learning about their lived experiences, and supporting them through the different passages of their lives.
The goal is not to arrive somewhere perfect — it is to fall in love with the process of becoming.
